Makmai Villa - Rayong

Makmai Villas was a great place to spend a while (we were there a week). The hotel owners are WONDERFUL, they were incredibly helpful in arranging a scooter hire and onward bus to Bangkok. The room was cleaned every day, with fresh towels and at least 3 new sets of bedding during the week, above and beyond! In fact, Makmai was the cleanest place we stayed in our 2 month trip through Thailand. The wifi was great, accessible from all areas, perhaps even from the beach, which is located directly in front of the guest house.

A very clean tidy and fresh smelling place. Not very modern but intesting furnishing and decorating update made it very pleasant. The beds were medium hard so good for your back - soft beds are not good. A nice pool and gardens secluided and quiet but right opposite the beach where good Thai food was plentiful and not expensive.

Great location with the beach , very good and clean pool . Very friendly and helpful staff that speak very good english. My second time here , and looking forward to next time !

It was a very well-run hotel and the Hosts were professional and very gracious. The rooms were clean and well-kept, as were the pool and surroundings. overall a very pleasant place to stay and I hope to return in the future.

everything about the property was amazing. Location is right opposite to the beach, they are super clean always and the hosts are also very sweet. they have a few pets which are a delight to play with.
